The perfect solution for keeping this wide angle lens correctly aligned on the NPP (No Parallax Point) position once the NPP position has been identified, thus eliminating the problem of finding the NPP again because you choose to use your camera for other types of photography. The "Ring" simply attaches to and grips this wide angle lens, and no matter what camera is attached to the ring/lens system, it will rotate correctly around the NPP. Compact and lightweight and provided with an inner PVC ring to retain and protect the lens body against damage. The "Ring" can be left in place on this wide angle lens in the correct NPP position for future use. Also you get the added convenience of being able to use both original lens caps once the camera is removed and lens is not in use
